Testimonials

West Midlands Womens Wellness & Wellbeing 2016

Caroline Ashby is an extraordinary person. She is an elite athlete conquering one of the most grueling sports – Ironman world championship triathlons. These sports consist of a 3.86 km rough water swim, 180 km bike and a 42 km run.

What makes Caroline even more unique is that she lives on a farm near Eneabba and trains by herself. There are limited facilities and harsh environments, so she has designed her own equipment and techniques to help her training.

Caroline is a mother and works on the farm as well. She is a passionate, dedicated person who demonstrates amazing resilience. I think one of Caroline’s strengths is preparation, preparation, preparation.

Caroline first presented at the West Midlands Group (local grower group) women’s day in 2016. Caroline shone out as the key speaker for the day because she had prepared so well in advance, spoke from the heart, and has amazing story. She is truly inspirational, and she captivated all the audience (approximately 200 ladies).

I would highly recommend Caroline as an inspirational guest speaker. She will absolutely deliver and do an excellent job.

Yuna Wild Flowers Long Table Lunch August 2021

Inspiring, Dynamic and totally Engaging!

We were excited to engage Caroline to present at our Wild-flowers Long Table Lunch at Yuna. Along with her infectious giggle, Caroline’s humble, emotional and passionate account of her road to Ultramarathon success and her subsequent recovery totally captivated the audience of ladies at our lunch. A real sense of being “one of us” and making use of what facilities she had available to her on farm for training really resonated with this agricultural audience although the idea of 3am bike rides during summer and harvest didn’t really gain much enthusiasm from the group. Caroline’s practical approach of “just making a start with what you have” was extremely motivational and inspiring to all listeners from the athletes amongst us to meet that next challenge, to those who took home some new self-love and holistic practises.

Fabulous speaker; great presentation; stories and images were super interesting and engaging! A true example of “Anything is possible”.

Caroline Ashby presented at our recent “Seroja Sundowner” with a particular focus on the rural women in the community.

Her story was one of motivation and hope providing an uplift to those in attendance, and making you feel that really anything is possible! Her presentation aptly named.

Number 1 – Look after yourself, body mind and spirit and don’t be afraid to give anything a go!

It was a very positive afternoon and a great pleasure to be a part of, thanks Caroline for your time and uplifting stories, you are truly an inspiration to women myself included!

Your strong mindset is remarkable and whilst I am far from an ironwoman have learnt a few tips for general life and wellbeing and having that strong mindset will help in all of life’s challenges.

St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School was delighted to invite Caroline to speak at our 2020 International Women’s Day Assembly. She delivered a truly inspiring address to our students, regaling them in tales of her upbringing in Broken Hill, boarding experiences in Adelaide and unwavering pursuit of excellence in the sport of Ironman – all the while raising a young family! The content and overarching themes of Caroline’s presentation, coupled with the energy in which she delivered it, truly captured the imagination of our students.

Royal Life Saving January 2020

Testimonial Presentation to Royal Life Saving WA Trainers on Heat Stress and Dehydration.

Royal Life Saving Society WA invited Caroline to present on  subject matter she had experienced firsthand, during her career journey leading to and during the  Ironman competitions.

Caroline’s inspirational presentation on heat stress and dehydration, took her audience to the front line with her. After taking a year off following an injury Caroline shared her experience during the race in Cairns and her last 3 kilometre journey to the finish line describing “ how her legs felt like jelly” as I battled to make it down the finish shoot.

Her inner self-motivation and positivity during the Ironman experience in Bintan, while being subject to the intense heat and humidity in 2018 showed a strength of character in the belief and understanding of making a difference when the mind is in the right gear and space.

We the audience, felt inspired and motivated with the “Wow” if this person can achieve this amazing career and work through the obstacles.. then where to from here? let’s get moving.

Thanks Caroline for sharing your experience, keep up your positive inspirational journey.

Caroline’s address, prior to our team’s Grand Final, was inspiring. A focus on identifying key things for individuals, backed up a strong message of empowerment that supported team goals and values. The address resulted in an exceptionally positive mindset and strong individual focus to achieve exceptional results. Feedback from players and the coaching staff was very positive. Thanks Caroline!

Last year Caroline spoke to players and coaches from the Claremont Women’s Football Club in the lead up to their finals campaign. She spoke about the importance of motivation and finding your drive in order to be successful. Caroline was passionate and spoke from the heart and captured the audience which was amazing especially as it was done via zoom. We would highly recommend Caroline as a motivational speaker as she was able to provide really sound and relevant advice that any athlete regardless of age or experience can relate to.

Grace Stevens Reiki August 2021

I had a remote reiki healing with Caroline and it was beautiful.

During the healing, I felt healing light within and around me. It was so relaxing, I felt my legs twitching, releasing tension. I felt my vibration lift during and after.

I’m a runner and that afternoon, in my training session I found I was engaged and ran really well!

I felt safe and at ease for the entire time.

Caroline has a joyful, playful and professional presence to all she does and is a gifted & intuitive healer.

Caroline’s talk to our Year 9-12 Hale boarding students was fantastic. The boys were able to relate to her farming experience and country upbringing and they loved seeing photos of her training on her property in Eneabba. The boys were in awe of Caroline’s achievements and her dedication to her training. I (as a teacher) particularly loved her messages about mindset, positivity and gratitude. Her zest for life and commitment to her overall wellbeing is infectious and inspiring.

Liebe Group Womens Field Day

Caroline Ashby was the keynote presenter for the 2022 Liebe Group Women’s Field Day.

Caroline delivered her inspirational presentation with a natural grace and humour which captivated the audience of rural women. Her passion for life and achieving her goals, despite the obstacles of “rural living”, shone through the stories she told, which were extremely relatable to our audience.

With a few key takeaway points, Caroline encouraged the audience to “dream, believe, achieve, remain resilient and above all remain grateful for everything you have.”

I highly recommend Caroline as a guest speaker. She is an excellent presenter with a professionalism illustrated by the quality structure to her presentation as well as images and videos which bring her stories to life.
